Mr. Arockiya Akash is a dedicated Mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in Medical and Psychiatry. With over a year of experience in Life Skills Training, Student Management, and Value Education, building stronger relationships, and Raising awareness in communities. Currently he holds a position as De-Addiction Counsellor at TTK Hospital

Shalini John, has Masters in Philosophy in Clinical Social work, with 8 years of experience providing individuals, family, and addiction counselling. Solomon has 10 years of experience in the field of community development and managing projects, currently working as a project coordinator at TTK hospital.

Shantha is a passionate and experienced psychologist with over 9 years of expertise in counselling adolescents and adults. Her practice focuses on helping individuals to manage emotional difficulties, enhance personal wellbeing & build resilience in the phase of life’s challenges. In addition she also has facilitated Awareness Programs and Workshops.

Dr. Janani has completed Psychiatric Medicine from CMC, Vellore and has been into practice since 2010.

Dr R. Jayachandiran is a Certified Diabetologist & confident Physician with an experience of
10 yrs in Medical practice and in Critical care units in Govt and Pvt hospitals.

Avinash is a dedicated professional with a Master of Social Work in medical and psychiatry. With 2 years of valuable experience in Addiction management, he excels in his role as an Addiction and other drugs counsellor at TTK Hospital. Passionate about Addiction and Mental health, Avinash is trained in conducting awareness programs for schools, community, and correctional settings

Mukesh Kumar has done MSW medical and psychiatry. Has undergone Universal Treatment Curriculum for substance use treatment and Children with substance use treatment Curriculum (CHILD). Over all 9 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment. He has been a Project coordinator for Juvenile de-addiction treatment at Chengalpattu. Currently working as, a Counsellor in TTK Hospital.

Ms. Valli has a Masters in Psychology. She has 7 years of experience in working with individuals with various issues, psychometric assessments, patients and their family members. She has worked in conducting awareness camps and programs on addiction in communities and schools.

Mahalakshmi, has Masters in Philosophy in Psychology. She has been working with TTK Hospital since 2012. She counsels patients and their families, conducts re-educative sessions and Group Therapy. She has a vast experience as an intake counsellor too. She also conducts training program and awareness program at TTK Hospital. She holds Level – I certification from International Centre for Certification and Education of Addiction Professionals (ICCE).

Murali is an experienced addiction professional with 13 years of expertise, supporting patients and families. He excels in community outreach, leading rural camps and driving drug demand reduction initiatives in schools, colleges, and communities across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. As a Camp Coordinator, Murali delivers impactful programs, leveraging his expertise for maximum impact.

1) Ms. Metilda – Metilda, an experienced mental health professional, with Master’s Degree in Social work. She is specialized in supporting the vulnerable women, families with conflicts, orphan women and children. Had Experience in student counselling and Have undergone training in life skills, Family counselling and conflict management and provides expert de-addiction counselling at TTK Hospital for past 12 years, delivering skilled training sessions and therapy.

Ms. Sheeba Williams has 25 years of experience at TTK, specializing in individual counselling and school awareness programs. She coordinates therapy, guiding and supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.

DR Shiva, Senior Medical Officer. Working in TTK since June 2006. He is into Family Practice
since 1978. After completing his Post graduate training in General Medicine, He took interest
and started practicing in the field of De-addiction from 1981 till date and has a vast experience
in the field of De- addiction..

Ms. Soumya has a Master of Social Work in Medical & Psychiatry. Soumya has overall 21 years of experience in varied functions of Human resources & Training. She currently heads the overall administration at TTK Hospital and works towards constantly evolving the treatment modalities and new initiatives.

Ms.Maya has been involved in the functioning of the hospital from the Nascent stage and coordinated the After Care Centre. She currently heads the TTK Hospital.

Ms. Maya Varadarajan has been instrumental is introducing revolutionary initiatives into rehabilitation like Music Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy & Horticulture Therapy, which compliment the primary treatment program, enhancing the treatment experience at TTK. Ms. Maya also believes in periodically exposing the team to various kinds of training programmes that helps in upgrading themselves to the current trend and nuances in Rehabilitation.

Turning her personal loss into a lifetime mission, Dr.Shanthi Ranganathan started TT Ranganathan Clinical Research Foundation in 1980 when the concept of addiction as a treatable disease was relatively unknown in India. With unwavering commitment, passion and untiring efforts, she nurtured the growth of the organization from one room centre to a renowned 100 bed centre known for its quality treatment and training initiatives.

In recognition of her services, she was awarded the Padma Shri (1992), the United Nations Civil Services Award (1999) and the Avvaiyar Award by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2015. As a member of the National Level Committees with the Government of India and as the Deputy Chairperson of ICCE Commission, Dr Ranganathan contributes to development of policies and guides initiatives to professionalize the field of addiction treatment.

Her contribution is however most vividly reflected in the lives of thousands of patients who lead alcohol and drug free lives along with their happy families who received a fresh lease of life.
